Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and explains what happens if you need to cancel, change, or get a refund for a Booking made through Sehaab.
1. Supplier rules come first
Every flight, hotel, or other travel product you book is ultimately provided by an airline, hotel, or other Supplier, and their fare rules and cancellation terms apply to your Booking. Some fares are fully non-refundable; others allow free or fee-based changes/cancellations within a certain window. If a Supplier's rules and this policy conflict, the Supplier's rules on what's actually refundable/changeable take precedence — Sehaab can't refund money a Supplier won't release.
2. How to request a cancellation, change, or refund
- Go to the Refund and Cancellation Request page and enter your booking number or booking ID.
- Choose the type of request: cancel booking, change date, or refund request, and tell us why.
- Submit the request.
Submitting a request does not cancel your Booking or return your money automatically — see the next section.
3. What happens after you submit a request
Your request is not resolved automatically or instantly. It goes through manual review:
- You submit the request with your booking reference and reason.
- Our back office reviews it — checking your Booking, the applicable Supplier's fare/cancellation rules, and your payment status.
- An authorized team member confirms the outcome. Money is only released back to you once this confirmation happens.
- If approved, we cancel the Booking as needed and mark the eligible captured payment as refunded to your original payment method.
We aim to review requests within 10 to 15 business days, but this can take longer depending on how quickly the Supplier responds to us.
4. What determines whether you get a refund
- Whether your fare/rate is refundable or partially refundable under the Supplier's own rules at the time you booked.
- How close to departure/check-in you're cancelling.
- Any Supplier-imposed cancellation or change fee, which will be deducted from your refund where applicable.
- Whether payment was successfully captured in the first place.
5. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the Booking. Processing times back to your card/account depend on your payment provider and bank, typically 5 to 10 business days after we mark the refund as approved.
6. Non-refundable items
A Sehaab service fee of $30 per booking is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of your cancellation, date-change, or refund request. This is separate from, and in addition to, any cancellation or change fee charged directly by the Supplier.
